This is a Key Stage 2 teaching and learning resource designed to support the teaching of World War 2 focussed topics.
Many of the suggested learning activities are recommended to be undertaken as part of a visit to Wollaston Museum. There are also a number of pre-visit and post visit activities available for download by clicking on the 'support files' link.
The sessions at Wollaston Museum have been developed to allow teachers to pick and choose which activities they feel are appropriate for their class. The Evacuees Day at Wollaston Museum is a teacher led day, with site support being provided by the museum's volunteers.
On booking a visit to Wollaston Museum a comprehensive teacher's pack will be sent to you to support class and teacher preparation for the visit. At this stage the content available in the 'teacher notes' is a taster of the activities. All of the worksheets and questionsheets required for the day can be downloaded in the 'support files' section.
