Thomas Miller is believed to have established the first photographic studio in Wellingborough, in the early 1860s. He opened his studio at 14 Midland Road, where he lived with his wife Minnie. He built a studio next door at No.13 Midland Road between 1879-1885. He specialised in Carte de Visites and other portrait photographs, particular of deceased people.
