RCM Services for Schools

Service for Schools

Visits to both Oakham Castle and the County Museum can be arranged via the Administrator or Learning Officer, whose time can also be booked.

As well as visits we run a Loans Boxes scheme of Victorian artefacts.  These centre round the Carter family [see image] as a typical agricultural working-class family and their appropriate tasks and activities.  The boxes can be used at school and/or Museum.  Teaching packs accompany the boxes.
