Key Stage 4 History: Work-related learning resource

Learning outcomes:

Pupils will create a virtual tour of Ruddington Framework Knitters' Museum.

1.  The virtual tour will show pupils awareness of the following:
a)  Creating appropriate resources for the intended age range.
b)  Legal and copyright restrictions, related to producing marketing materials.
c)  Working with other History professionals.

2.  The virtual tour will enable pupils to be assessed on the following:
a)  Their knowledge of local History.
b)  Their ability in ICT.
c)  Their ability to produce professional materials that could be used in the work
      place. 

During a visit to Ruddington Framework Knitters' Museum pupils should gather material that can be used to compile a virtual tour of the site.  This may include, observational drawing and descriptive writing, photographs, videos, data gathering from museum panels, interviews of staff and museum visitors etc.  Alternatively pupils could use a combination of internet research and images of the site provided in the Related resources to complete their project.
