The collection of The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust includes historic steam locomotives, railway carriages and related objects.

This learning package uses items from the museum collection as a starting point for exploring issues related to railway safety past and present and the rules and responsibilities for both workers and the general public.

The suggested activities are designed to support the teaching of Key Stage 2 History, Citizenship and PSHE, with links to Literacy and ICT.
