A teacher-led session, based on a series of activity cards that pupils use to explore and investigate each room in the museum. Your visit should last half a day.
Conceived and developed by students from the University
of Derby Initial Teacher Training (ITT) course, the activity is designed to support various curriculum areas, and makes particular use of role-play and digital photography.
The cards prompt the pupils to garner information, make written, oral and drawn observations, explore their own feelings and express opinions.
