Very little is known about how servants' bedrooms were furnished as artists rarely illustrated them. Inventories suggest that the room would have beed sparsely furnished with a bed, chair, chest of drawers, some hanging pegs for clothes and maybe a mirror and strip of carpet.
The servants' bed at Pickford's House is a reconstruction of a camp or field bed, which was common in female servants' bedrooms.
