Eight new fun and exciting science sessions, suitable for Key Stages 1 and 2, are to be available from National Science Week - 10 - 19 March 2006 onwards.

Can we make it rain inside? Will Soot, our cat mascot, get wet? This is an experiment that children love and is a fun and exciting way to learn about or revise the water cycle, changing materials and changes of state.

This is the outline of just one of our eight new Science sessions for pupils from Key Stages 1 and 2. The details of this and the other sessions are available on the Papplewick Pumping Station website.

Our standard charge is £1.50 per pupil for a half day session or £3.00 for a full day. All teachers and support staff are free of charge.

All sessions are led by experienced Papplewick staff. All field equipment and necessary materials are provided. Maximum number of children 32.
