gem panningPupils enjoy the gem panning activity at the National Stone Centre but there is insufficient time during a busy visit to find out much about the gems. These activities aim to enable pupils to satisfy their curiosity about the gems they found by using them in activities that will meet National Curriculum objectives.
Can be used to support Science, ICT and the Primary Framework for Literacy Key Stages 1 and 2
