Learning Links

Piloting teaching and learning session at Sharpe's Pottery Museum

Learning Links in the East Midlands provides funding and support for teachers to work with museums and archives; we are funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS).

Our aim is to work in partnership to develop:

• creative, personalised and engaging resources and services that support delivery of the curriculum
• lasting relationships between schools, museums and archives
• opportunities for teaching and learning outside the classroom

Art and Science at Derby City Museums

This year's Learning Links projects are now being confirmed. As the projects progress, we aim to crreate case studies looking at how the partnerships with schools work out as well as recording the challenges and solutions that develop.
