Grantham has been home to its fair share of famous men and women – including Britain’s first policewoman, the first female Prime Minister and a scientist acknowledged as one of the greatest the world has ever known. (In case you didn’t know – that’s Edith Smith, Margaret Thatcher and Isaac Newton!)

It supports the teaching of History and Art & Design with links to Citizenship, Literacy and ICT and contains a range of information, lesson ideas and resources in formats suitable for web-based, offline and IWB use.
