Small piece of wood from an apple tree

This piece of wood is reputedly from the apple tree at Woolsthorpe Manor, which prompted Newton’s theory of universal gravitation. It was discovered in the study of Woolsthorpe Manor by the then owners, the Woolertons, when first taking occupancy of the house at Woolsthorpe.
