Portrait of Isaac Newton

Portrait of Sir Isaac Newton, aged 78. Painted by Sir Godfrey Kneller dated 1721. Kneller painted Newton 5 times, however only four have survived including this portrait on display at Grantham Museum.

The portrait shows Newton as the nobleman, depicted wearing a full wig, holding a pair of gloves and wearing a sword.
