First Electric Tram across Barrow Bridge 

Using photographs and postcards from the Museum's extensive archive, this learning package helps pupils investigate the social history of the late nineteenth century.

The package can be used to support a visit to the Museum or as a self contained classroom based project.

The package is appropriate for Key Stage 2 pupils and covers National curriculum objectives for history, english, literacy and citizenship.
