Key Stage 1 and 2 Teachers' Pack

This newly produced teachers' pack is designed to support group visits to Strutt's North Mill, Belper. It is a cross-curricular resource that illustrates how site activites can be linked to the National Curriculum and QCA Schemes of Work. The content is focused on Key Stage 1 and 2 but can also support visits from Key Stage 3 and 4 and specialist groups.

Site activites can be extended in the classroom through examples given for pre and post visit activities. These activites are separated into five topics and background information is provided for teachers wishing to conduct further research. The pack is not intented to be prescriptive, but offers information that can be adapted to the individual needs of a group either at the North Mill or used in the classroom.

The pack is free of charge to teachers once a group booking is placed. It is available in both digital and hardcopy.
