Lancaster Bomber Radar Set

The "Ger" airbourne radar set was one of the first electronic navigational aids carried by aircraft. They were useful because they operate both in cloud and fog and aircarft no longer needed to rely on visual navigation (e.g. by stars) to reach their target or get home safely.
