Lancaster Bomber - Rear turret

The rear bomber's turret of a Lancaster Bomber. At the very tail end of the aircraft, the rear gunner position is small and cramped. It is not connected to the rest of the plane. Parts of the turret have no glass – so that there was a clear view of the sky. It also meant it was very cold!
