Wollaston Museum

Wollaston Museum consists of three main sites:


Main Hall - 18th Century chapel that houses a collection of archaeological, farming, shoe trade, lace making and locally focussed exhibits.


Beacon Hill - Remnants of a medieval motte from a Motte and Bailey Castle.


Village Cottage - This village cottage has recently been rennovated to highlight some of the periods of history in which the cottage has been lived in.

Opening Times

The Wollaston Museum, Curiosity Cottage and Beacon Hill are open Sundays and Wednesdays, 2.30 - 4.30 pm, from Easter to the end of September, at other times by arrangement for history groups, school parties, etc.
